Embark on a musical tour of Italy as Jouyssance celebrates Palestrina’s 500th birthday with a performance of Missa Assumpta est Maria, as well as motets and madrigals by fellow Romans Stefano Landi and Costanzo Festa. The program will also include a stop in Venice, where Jouyssance will reprise its recent Carnegie Hall performance of the Magnificat à 6 from his 1610 Vespers.
The event will be held at Holy Nativity Church in Westchester. The cost to attend is $25 for general admission; $20 for seniors and $10 for students.
