Get to Know SMPREP's Primary Program Please join us Saturday, December 7 from 9-11 a.m. for Saint Monica Preparatory's annual Christmas Playdate & Open House. The fun and festive morning is a wonderful opportunity for families starting to explore Kindergarten and primary grade options for the 2025-2026 school year to get to know our community better and to kick off the holiday season! Saint Monica Prep's Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade teachers will all be on hand at the event to lead story time, arts & crafts and STEM activity stations. Playa del Rey business owners Jane St. John (REMAX) and Felicia St. Denis (Flowers by Felicia) are teaming up next month for their 21st Annual Toy & Animal Shelter Drive! Donations of new, unwrapped toys for Children's Hospital Los Angeles and animal shelter supplies (treats, toys, beds etc) can be dropped off at Triangle Park (Waterview and Trask) in PdR on December 7 from 9 a.m. to noon. After you deliver the gifts, stick around to enjoy a cup of coffee and chat with your neighbors!
