Celebrate Independence Day with the 16th Annual Fourth of July Parade presented by the LAX Coastal Chamber! This year’s theme is “American Beach Party.”

The parade will take place on Saturday, July 4 starting at 11 a.m. Fifty entries including floats, marching bands and community groups will make their way down Loyola Boulevard from Manchester Avenue to Loyola Marymount University.  This year’s Fourth of July Parade Grand Marshal is former All-Star Shortstop Royce Clayton. Clayton played Westchester Babe Ruth Baseball and for St. Bernard High before going on to play for the Giants and the Red Sox.

The parade is a great spot for photo opportunities and we are inviting the community to share their awesome photos with us by using the #laxcoastalparade hashtag! To share your photos, please like the HomeTown News at facebook.com/thehtn and post the photo on our wall or follow the chamber on Instagram @laxcoastal and tag the photo with @laxcoastal and #laxcoastalparade. To make this a little more fun, our two favorite photographers will receive a $25 gift card to Cantalini’s Salerno Beach and a chance to have their photo featured in our parade recap in the August issue of the HTN!

For more information about the parade, please call the chamber at (310) 645-5151.
