Join the Emerson Avenue Community Garden for a "Mezze Affair!" This small plates soiree will feature delicious food, wine, a silent auction and good vibes. The Westchester venue will be shared with event attendees after RSVP. The proceeds raised will benefit the Emerson Avenue Community Garden. Tickets are $30 before September 15 and $40 after.

The community is invited to the Local School Showcase at LMU! Hosted by the LMU School of Education and the Westchester/Playa Parent Collaborative Network, the event will give attendees the chance to learn what's happening at local schools and provide a chance to check out their specialized programs and learn about enrollment.

Join WPNS for their annual KinderForum at the Westchester Townhouse. Attendees will have the chance to meet and greet representatives from more than 20 area schools and learn what they have to offer. The event is hosted by WPNS with drinks and refreshments sponsored by the LAX Coastal Education Foundation.

Join the Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary for their annual Cultural Dinner on Wednesday, October 19. The event will feature food, entertainment and fun, and will honor longtime community supporters John and Nancy Edwards. A silent and live auction will round out the event.
